Multi award-winning Irish country bakery, The Foods of Athenry, are thrilled to announce a new deal with the premium supermarket chain, Waitrose.
Three products from The Foods of Athenry’s Free From range are available in 42 Waitrose stores across the UK.

- Gluten Free All Butter Flapjacks Mini Bites ‘The Works’
Certified Gluten Free and suitable for vegetarians, all three products selected by Waitrose are Great Taste award-winners. The Gluten Free All Butter Flapjacks Mini Bites ‘The Works’ also earned a highly commended accolade at the recent UK Free From Food Awards in April 2015.
The Soda Bread Toasts are loaded with healthy seeds and nuts and have only 15 calories per toast. The Flapjack mini bites, packed in a resealable pouch, are a convenient on-the-go snack solution.
For a small Irish company, Foods of Athenry have quite the celebrity following with Ellie Goulding tweeting the merits of the Gluten Free Cookie Shots and in June, John Cleese tweeted about the Soda Bread Toasts, saying they were the best he had ever tasted.

The Foods of Athenry range is already available in the UK through specialist wholesalers Cotswold Fayre, Tree of Life, CLF, and Suma and in health stores, speciality and fine food stores such as Harrods & Selfridges, as well as select independent retailers.
