Soho Vietnamese café and sandwich shop Whaam Bánh Mì has announced a brand new breakfast menu, bringing a Vietnamese twist to popular morning favourites.
Whaam Bánh Mì introduces a simple and quick breakfast menu for those rushing to work, by foot or bike, Monday to Friday from 7:30am. The menu is made up of breakfast classics; Bacon Butty (£2.95), Egg and Mushroom English muffin, Granola and Yoghurt (£2.50) and Fresh Orange Juice (£2.95). For the adventurous, there is also the option to try something a little different with a Pulled Pork English muffin (£2.95). Those after something a little lighter are invited to try their combination of Greek Yoghurt, sliced banana and hemp seed (£2.50).
What better way to accompany your breakfast than with Vietnamese coffee which Whaam also specialises in. Supplied by The Saigon Coffee Company and sweetened with condensed milk in the traditional Vietnamese style this is the perfect way to kick off the day. For those after something a little more classic, Whaam also serve a full range of coffees made with beans from specialty roasters Union Coffee.
For those still hungry at lunch, Whaam serves a wide choice of Banh Mi, traditional Vietnamese sandwiches made with a British twist. Popular choices include ‘Asian BBQ Shredded Pork’, ‘Lemongrass Chicken’ and ‘Ginger & Chilli Tofu’. Packed into perfected-recipe bread, with a thinner crust and more airy texture than the French baguette, keeping true to its Vietnamese roots. Gluten free options are also available at lunch with some outstanding Vietnamese salads also available. Popular choices include lemongrass chicken with Vietnamese slaw or the newly introduced Asparagus, Oyster mushroom, Jasmine rice and sesame.
The Whaam breakfast menu launches on 15 September.
