The head office management team at Maison Blanc, and the Fulham general manager Silvana Arzu and her staff, have come together to freshen up the store. It was hands-on all round for a high impact day on Tuesday 21st July, as everyone put their hearts into making the boulangerie and patisserie as welcoming and attractive as possible for Fulham residents.
Maison Blanc Head of Marketing, Cat Stuijt said that encouraging the full team to engage with the refurbishment process adds a sense of ‘ownership’ that lasts beyond the challenge of ticking off a large task list in such a short amount of time. “There was an extraordinary atmosphere as everyone rolled up their sleeves and tackled all the jobs that needed doing. We designed our Impact Day to encourage strong team spirit, but also to give the store staff a sense that they have a direct role to play in the ongoing success of their Maison Blanc.”
Walls inside were re-painted to create a whole new colour scheme in the store; new wall paper was put up to decorate one of the walls; new pictures were hung; the toilets were overhauled and the downstairs staffing area was brightened up. In a bid to support local charity shops, Maison Blanc staff scoured local charity stores for books and ornaments to fill the newly painted shelves in the dining area for a homely feel. In addition, works are currently underway to develop the outside garden area to improve the ‘alfresco’ dining experience during the warmer summer months.
Maison Blanc Fulham’s general manager Silvana Arzu says; “I am hugely proud of my team here, everyone pulled together beautifully to get the job done and everybody is feeling really excited and positive about coming into work. Our customers have also made some lovely comments, they seem to be delighted and are really enjoying the brighter look and feel.”
Maison Blanc Fulham is now open from earlier in the morning, at 7.30am until 8pm in the evening.
