On Sunday 16th August, Ember Yard will be hosting a Portuguese inspired lunch. The special one-off event will be a celebration of the food and wine of Europe’s most westerly country and will showcase the richness and simplicity of Portuguese flavours with a Salt Yard Group twist.
The menu will include Grilled Sardines with radish, cucumber and fennel followed by Lamb Leg cooked in Milk with Salsa Criolla, Chorizo and Potato Gratin and a Dulche de Leche Cheesecake with Spiced Chocolate Ice Cream and Almond. Each course will be matched with a Portuguese wine carefully selected by Ember Yard. This will of course include a glass of Port – the fascinating and historic sweet wine that has been spreading the Portuguese name for centuries. The three course lunch will be priced at £35.00 per head, with pairing wines and Port an optional extra.
